Systemic inflammation
What causes systemic inflammation?
Usually, food allergies or sensitivities we are unaware of. Often we are slightly sensitive to things like gluten, dairy, and eggs. Those are the most common, but you can be sensitive to anything. Also, taking lots of medication, or one medication for a long time, because toxins in the medication do, damage your tissues. Advil causes you to lose 1-2 oz of blood from your stomach lining every time you take 2. Now, don't get me wrong here I take Advil if pain is preventing me from functioning in the world. I work hard, though, to prevent that level of pain. I do this by ridding my diet of inflammatory substances, which for me are gluten and dairy that is not organic, raw and fermented, as well as making sure I have enough minerals and proper electrolyte balance in my body.
Inflammation occurs when the body repairs damaged tissues, which is normal. An example of this is high cholesterol and its relationship to heart disease. Cholesterol is a substance your liver produces. If you are eating it, in terms of animal protein, your body stop making it. Cholesterol is required for hormones which are important. Cholesterol is not the enemy of your arteries. Inflammation damages the arteries, trying to repair things and making a mess, and Cholesterol comes and sets itself down (plaque) to make the artery walls more stable. Reduce inflammation, and you eliminate the need for cholesterol plaques, the body can heal itself (by reabsorbing the cholesterol), and you can be healthy and happy.
